Why daily devotion is important?

A devotional helps you break things down by providing you with select passages of scripture for today, easy-to-understand teaching, and even suggestions for prayer. Learning more and more about God every day will help you deepen your relationship with him. Do you need more help keeping up with your devotions? Here are 12 steps to help you, such as attending a teenage Sunday school class or reading a devotional book. Attending a teenage Sunday school class can be a great way to learn more about the Bible and grow in your faith. The Word of God reminds us of our sin, and scripture for today can provide us with guidance and hope. Joining a teenage Sunday school class can be an excellent way to dive deeper into the Bible and gain a better understanding of it, as well as strengthen your relationship with God through the scripture for today.

You may not see the difference after a day of devotional, but again, just like exercise, you'll see the long-term impact. If a daily group devotion is not plausible, instead create time each morning to personally read the scriptures and pray. But before there is any in-depth discussion of what daily devotions are, it's helpful to understand why believers would want to set aside this time to seek the Lord. MPCS is fortunate to have the freedom to start each day with a devotion provided by teachers, staff and student leaders.

These brief daily devotions help us remember the important truths of what it means to be followers of Jesus. If your devotional life degenerates into attempts to please God's favor and approval, you are devaluing the beauty of God's grace in Christ. I love this quote and I think that reading the devotional writings of others is a way of getting to know other people and, therefore, seeing more of Jesus.
